School Community Project


Students can now register to participate in the 2021 Milne Bay Military Challenge community trail race as individuals for either the 7km race category or the 15km race category and a portion of their registration fee will be redirected back to the student’s nominated school.

Primary and Secondary Schools in the local government area of Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region who apply and are accepted to be a 2021 Milne Bay Military Challenge Community Beneficiaries will directly benefit from the event through student registrations where 30 percent of the registration fees being donated back to their nominated school.  The remaining balance of the registration fees goes to Rotary Foundation (30%) and to Rotary Club of Toowoomba South Community Service Account (40%).

Local Primary and Secondary Schools can maximise their benefit through the 2021 Milne Bay Military  Challenge School Community Project by encouraging students, parents, past students, and teachers to nominate their preferred school when registering.

The funds raised through the 2021 Milne Bay Military Challenge community trail race will provide necessary equipment and various resources that encourage students and their families to embrace healthy lifestyles.
